The Cardi-Gold Observeship is an exclusive two-week Cardiology & Cardiac Surgery observership experience hosted at the Aswan Heart Centre (AHC), one of the most respected cardiac care institutions in Egypt and Africa. Designed for healthcare professionals, this program provides participants with a unique opportunity to shadow and observe advanced clinical practices in cardiology and cardiac surgery at AHC. Aswan Heart Centre, founded by Sir Magdi Yacoub, is renowned for its state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge medical research.

Participants in the Cardi-Gold Training will gain invaluable exposure to the daily workings of AHC, from its multidisciplinary approach to patient care to its pioneering research initiatives. This program offers a combination of world-class medical learning with cultural immersion in the historic and scenic city of Aswan, known as the “Land of Gold.”

  • Observation of Advanced Cardiac Care: Participants will engage in observational learning with AHC’s esteemed doctors, surgeons, nurses, and researchers, gaining insight into complex cardiac surgeries, interventions, and multidisciplinary patient care.
  • Comprehensive Exposure: The program covers a variety of specialties within cardiology, including pediatric and adult heart diseases, interventional cardiology, and cardiac surgery.
  • Cultural Immersion: Aswan, home to ancient Egyptian culture, offers participants a rich, immersive experience in addition to professional learning. Participants will explore the region’s traditions, including visits to historical sites, local markets, and the stunning Aswan Nile waterfront.

The Cardi-Gold Program offers a unique opportunity to learn from world-renowned professionals in cardiology. The observership experience will:

    • Provide insights into advanced heart treatments, diagnostic techniques, and cardiac surgeries.
    • Offer exposure to AHC’s comprehensive heart care practices, including pediatric and adult cardiology, heart failure, and interventional cardiology.
    • At the end of the program, participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance, validating their time spent observing at the prestigious Aswan Heart Centre.
