In ancient Egyptian mythology, Osiris stands as the god of regeneration, rebirth, and eternal life — symbolizing transformation, hope, and the triumph of life over adversity. Inspired by this powerful symbol, osiRISE is a unique 8-day immersive program designed to nurture the next generation of leaders and advocates in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).
This camp intertwines ancient wisdom with modern knowledge and skills, guiding participants through a transformative journey. Just as Osiris was reborn and empowered, so too will participants gain the strength, knowledge, and facilitation skills needed to champion SRHR with confidence, compassion, and impact.
Through a rights-based, gender-sensitive approach, osiRISE will build facilitators who can engage communities, challenge stigma, and lead effective advocacy campaigns. The camp also fosters soft skills essential for leadership—communication, empathy, critical thinking, and collaboration—making it a comprehensive platform for empowerment.
